Man Utd extend Gibson Wolves loan

Manchester United midfielder Darron Gibson has extended his loan spell at Wolves until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old Republic of Ireland international started his three-month loan in October and has since made eight starts for the Championship club.
Gibson can now provide cover for Nigerian Seyi Olofinjana, who heads to the African Cup of Nations in January. "Darron's a good footballer and has done well since he came here," boss Mick McCarthy told the Wolves website.
